Splash Laundry KC Selected for ScaleUP! Kansas City's 16th Cohort

We're excited to share some big news: Splash Laundry KC's own Casey McBain has been selected to join the 16th cohort of ScaleUP! Kansas City, an executive-style coaching program built specifically for local entrepreneurs ready to move from launching a business to scaling one.

ScaleUP! KC is run through the Missouri Small Business Development Center at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, with funding from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and support from sponsors including Morgan Stanley and JPMorganChase. The program pairs business owners with experienced guidance, a community of peers facing similar growth challenges, and direct connections to capital, talent, and strategic partners.

"Scaling a business demands more than ambition; it requires experienced guidance, trusted peers, and access to the right resources at the right time," said Jill Hathaway, ScaleUP! KC's program coordinator, in announcing the new cohort.

For Splash Laundry KC, this is a vote of confidence in where the business is headed — and a chance to sharpen the leadership and strategy behind everything we're building for our Kansas City customers, from self-serve laundry to wash-and-fold delivery and memberships.

"As a first-time business owner, and 3 years into our journey here at Splash Laundry KC, I'm so excited for the opportunity to gain the valuable knowledge to help Splash Laundry develop into the business I know it can be. We are honored to have been selected for the program, and are looking forward to developing new ways we can serve our customers and Kansas City as a whole." - Casey Mcbain, owner
